Chris Schneider, MBA

Executive Director

Ms. Schneider joined Affiliated Pediatric Practices as Executive Director early in 2000.  She is a hands-on, results oriented leader with a successful record in leading major development efforts.  Ms. Schneider has helped APP grow from 10 to 18 practices and from 50 to more than 80 pediatricians in the course of 8 years.  Ms. Schneider’s has solid financial, analytic and systems experience and a management style that includes a strong commitment to consensus building.  Ms. Schneider strengths include leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, strategic and financial planning, program development and implementation, financial and operational analysis, customer service, communication, and quality and process improvement.

Ms. Schneider received an MBA in Health Systems Administration at Union College, and her Bachelor of Science Degree at Old Dominion University.  Prior to joining APP, Ms. Schneider worked in Health Care Administration for 12 years. Working as an independent consultant, Ms. Schneider was responsible for the conversion of the Tennessee Managed Care Network to a new transactional claims system. As Vice President of Operations at the Neighborhood Health Plan in Boston Massachusetts, Ms. Schneider provided successful leadership in the areas of government and regulatory affairs, process improvement, contract development and negotiation, and management of multi-disciplinary teams.  As Executive Director of the Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, Ms. Schneider directed all aspects of the development, licensure, and start-up of a new HMO in less than one year.  As Executive Director, Ms. Schneider uses her education, expertise and experience to provide meaningful, successful leadership to APP.
